DAVID BRADY
Late-late twentieth century media and conceptualist postmodern irony could very well be the godparents of David Brady, as video games, tv, movies, and techno icons are becoming near universal human experiences for all under the age of 30. Brady has more of an underground aesthetic than that of those working from the mainframe of popular culture representing adolescent nostalgia with a brilliant twist via cheap and simple materials.

Brady received The Man of the Year award by The Boulder Weekly newspaper in 1999 and has been praised by local Denver Fine Art Critics Kyle MacMillan and Mary Voelz Chandler in past exhibition reviews. David Brady has had solo exhibitions at RULE Gallery and Gallery Sink, in Denver, Colorado, and The Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, in Boulder, Colorado. Brady’s most notable group exhibitions include, the 10 + 10 Biennial at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver, Colorado, Colorado 2002 at The Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and Gridlock at Singer Gallery in Denver, Colorado.
